I have arrived towards the end of the college year, the Fourth Year students are submitting their final papers for assessment before leaving college in April to take up their probationary, or Deacon positions.

In conversation with one student I learn that he is to be stationed towards the North Eastern region, where he will pastor around 20 Christian families who occupy land for agriculture.
His manse, which I have yet to learn more about, serves as the church, the upper floor, appropriately, having been converted and made into one room. It will be here that he leads worship bible study and other related Church meetings.
This afternoon I took the opportunity of a lift in to Kandy where I got caught out in the rain and smiled at a red post box, though it looked down in the mouth with its white daubed paint - and yes apparently is does get emptied.
